Now quartz slabs want to reduce costs, calcium-containing silica powder will be added to the slabs to reduce the cost of quartz, but the hardness and activity of calcium-containing silica powder are obviously not as good as pure silica powder, so the quality of the slab will decrease to a certain extent, but if the calcium powder content is controlled within a certain range, it can also be used for a long time.
The method to identify calcium-containing quartz slabs is to drop a strong acidic solution on the back of the quartz slab to see if it will react. If it reacts, it is a calcium-containing quartz slab.
Pure quartz slabs and calcium-containing quartz slabs need to be selected according to the scene of their use. The appearance of each type of slab must have its rationality.
